Dive into the wonders of the oceans!

The oceans cover almost 70% of our planet’s surface and play an essential role in the balance of life on Earth. Yet they remain largely unexplored… even less so than outer space! 

At Ocean Days, dive into the heart of the marine world and explore its importance in the emergence and preservation of life. Exciting lectures by marine biologists, interactive workshops, scientific discoveries and much more await you. 
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Creative activities will also be on offer for younger visitors to help them discover the ocean world in a fun and educational way.
Whether you’re curious, passionate or an expert, join us at the Luxembourg Science Center for two days of immersion in the fascinating world of the oceans.

  • Scientific POP-UPS: activity to discover the function of echolocation; experiments to illustrate the formation of ocean currents
  • Kids Corner: do-it-yourself activities with a scientific approach
  • TALK: “Diving with a Purpose” (Saturday, English)
  • TALK: “Out of sight out of mind: Luxembourg’s inconspicuous connections to the ocean.” (Saturday, German)
  • TALK: “Same planet, different world: Exploration and discovery by diving” (Saturday, French)
  • Partner STANDS: Odyssea, AGE, Polar.lu, No Limit Divers, Diving Escapades, MNHN
