Here is the catalog of our IFEN-approved continuing education courses for secondary schools in Lëtzebuergesch and French for 2022.

These courses will enable you to discover in concrete terms how to add value to school curricula in science and technology subjects through the spatial context in the classroom.
Our training courses offer you new ideas for motivating your students, involving them actively in their learning and enabling them toexplore the Universe around them.

Online: 3D lunar base design for 8-14 year-olds

January 20 and January 27, 2022

During these 2 1.5h workshops we’ll help you build your own lunar base step by step, to help you enter the MoonCamp Discovery & Explorers 2022 competitions with your 8-14 year old students.

Astronauts who stay on the moon for an extended period of time face a number of major challenges. What does an astronaut need to survive on the moon? As part of the Moon Camp Challenge, your students will discover the Moon and use 3D software to design a future lunar camp for astronauts. The European Space Agency rewards the best designs with numerous prizes.

Coding on the International Space Station! Introduction to ESA programming and challenges

February 1 and February 8, 2022

Every year, the European Space Agency (ESA) invites primary and secondary school pupils to take part in its Astro Pi challenges. On the International Space Station (ISS), there are two mini-computers (Astro-Pis) with sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, camera, etc.) that can be programmed with groups of students.

This training course will give you :
– an introduction to Python programming with AstroPi kits (Raspberry Pi with sensors) and an online simulator, which you can easily reproduce in the classroom with your students.
– information and preparation for ESA challenges in which you and your students may be involved.

– Baryzentrische Kugeln: Umlaufbahnen und der Schwerpunkt
– Die Mondlandung: wir planen ein Landemodul
