Astronomy Days 2025, held at the Luxembourg Science Center, lived up to all its promises! From October 08 to 12, the public and schools were invited to plunge into the heart of the mysteries of the universe through exceptional days filled with scientific discoveries, celestial observations and cosmic wonder.

A dynamic and inspiring event

This event, now in its 3ᵉ edition, brought together astronomy enthusiasts, families, students and teachers around a rich and varied program. Captivating lectures, interactive workshops, solar observation sessions with state-of-the-art telescopes and meetings with astronomers punctuated these two days dedicated to science and curiosity.

A focus on education and science

Luxembourg schools also benefited from two days reserved especially for them, enabling almost 400 pupils to discover the universe in a fun and immersive way, through specially adapted workshops and scientific activities.

Highlight: the cosmonaut’s lecture

One of the highlights of this year’s event was the exceptional presence of cosmonaut Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, who shared his unique experience of space in a captivating lecture. His talk gave the audience an inspiring insight into the life of an astronaut, his missions and the challenges of space exploration.

• Interactive booths and children’s zones to arouse the curiosity of youngsters
