DON’T MISS: Special guest on Sunday, October 11:

Cosmonaut Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu joins us for Astronomy Days, where he will be holding a public lecture in English. Dive into the heart of the space adventure through his journey, his training and the fascinating realities of being a space explorer.

We look forward to seeing you at 11:30 am at the Luxembourg Science Center. Together we will join us at then the conference room in the EIDE building, a 2-minute walk from the LSC. The conference will take place from 12pm to 1pm.

We’ve put together a full program of space-related science shows that will leave you breathless and eager to discover the mysteries of the cosmos. So get your students together and embark on a journey of cosmic proportions!

And what would Astronomy Days be without observing our nearest star, the Sun? Take part in the solar observation sessions, where you can safely contemplate the solar surface through specialised telescopes, revealing the breathtaking beauty and dynamic nature of our beautiful star.

Visitors can buy their tickets online, guaranteeing them a place among the stars. For those who prefer a spontaneous trip, tickets will also be available at the Luxembourg Science Center box office, so don’t miss out on this stellar opportunity!

Where does Astronomy Days take place?

The event will take place at the Luxembourg Science Center in Differdange.
Address: 1 Rue John Ernest Dolibois, L-4573 Differdange

How do I get to the event?

By car: the Hauts-Fourneaux car park is a 5-minute walk from the Luxembourg Science Center.

By train: Differdange CFL station

By bus: TICE lines 1, 2 and 6 and RGTR lines 325 and 327 1 stop opposite the Luxembourg Science Center.

 

Can we eat at the event venue?

You have access to a snack room in the Luxembourg Science Center, where you can bring your own food. There are also several restaurants around the Science Center.

Is there an age restriction?

Participants must be at least 8 years old. There are no age restrictions for other activities.
