More than half of ESA’s budget is allocated to Earth observation as part of the Copernicus program. These data are very useful to climatologists working on IPCC reports.

The IPCC reports detail all the links between human activities, the additional greenhouse effect and its consequences.

This web application is an online tool that uses images and videos produced by Copernicus to detail all the links between the causes and consequences of climate change to Climate Detective participants during the research project.

It helps students understand where their research question fits into the global context of climate change.
