Coding on the International Space Station! Introduction to ESA programming and challenges

February 1 and February 8, 2022

Every year, the European Space Agency (ESA) invites primary and secondary school pupils to take part in its Astro Pi challenges. On the International Space Station (ISS), there are two mini-computers (Astro-Pis) with sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, camera, etc.) that can be programmed with groups of students.

This training course will give you :
– an introduction to Python programming with AstroPi kits (Raspberry Pi with sensors) and an online simulator, which you can easily reproduce in the classroom with your students.
– information and preparation for ESA challenges in which you and your students may be involved.
